Update: Hold that thought; a representative for both Eminem and Dr. Dre (who didn't participate in last month's N.W.A. reunion) told Rolling Stone that neither man has plans to tour with N.W.A., either as a solo performer or as a member of the group.
The N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton comes out August 14. To promote the film, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube did an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, where it was revealed that an N.W.A. reunion tour involving Eminem is in the works. "We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules," said Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley. "But we think it can create a lot of buzz."
